Our goals are:
- **To foster accessible and collaborative social, recreational and educational programming to encourage personal growth and leadership.
- For examples of this type of programming, look at our offerings on our Event Calendar.
- **Develop a strong core of Deaf leaders and a strategy for emerging leaders among the Deaf community to sustain the organization.
- We mentor Deaf people, our Deaf/hard of hearing leaders, to strengthen our community.
- **To align ourselves with other organizations to establish a community center.
- Yes, it is the long term goal of DHHA to provide YOU with a Community Center! Imagine a place where we can go, much like a Deaf YMCA, where we can go and see everyone is fluent and/or learning Sign Language including teachers, administrators and programming staff while cherishing Deaf Culture.
We can provide you with classes and social events to attend, so you can connect with others.
We can help expand our signing community.
We'll teach you how to find your hidden talents and share them.
We can help you develop and improve your leadership skills.
Spread the news about DHHA and our website.

Some examples of classes you could teach are:
